The region has begun to experience a gradual phase of recovery, positively impacting local communities that are starting to regain stability and economic and social activity. Despite the noticeable return of normal life, many families—especially female-headed households—still need regular employment opportunities that enhance their independence and support their integration into the community recovery process.
With the growing demand for services such as laundry and carpet cleaning, and the absence of organized centers to meet these needs, the idea of the “Sanitation House” project emerged. It is designed as a women’s production center that provides quality services to the community and offers female-headed households a safe space to work, earn income, and develop their skills.
The project aims to empower women economically and socially by providing a sustainable source of income, building their capacities, and enhancing their active participation in advancing the local community.
The center also contributes by providing organized, high-quality home services, which in turn improves the quality of life for families and supports the recovery process.
