The prolonged situation in the region has greatly affected educational institutions, including schools. Al-Bayras School has suffered partial and complete damage in some areas due to the circumstances the region has experienced, resulting in the loss of a suitable learning environment for students—especially with the return of many families to the city of Kafr Nabl. This situation has deprived students of their basic right to education, as essential infrastructure such as intact walls, doors, windows, flooring, and furniture is lacking, rendering the school currently unusable.
The project aims to fully renovate the school, including: clearing debris and waste, rebuilding damaged walls and ceilings, installing new windows and doors, tiling the floors, rehabilitating the water and sewage system, painting the school inside and out, and providing new school furniture.
