The child Layan lost her father in the Battle to Repel the Aggression, where he was martyred while defending the dignity of his homeland and people. He was killed in the line of duty, leaving behind a grieving wife and three children. Since his passing, Layan has been living with her mother and siblings in difficult living conditions, as the family faces daily struggles to secure the most basic needs such as food, shelter, and education.
